Introduction
If your organisation has connected their Docusign and Work Author accounts, you can send a document for signature in Docusign with just a few clicks directly from Work Author.
Sending a document for signing
1. On a completed document, click "Publish" in the Docusign box.
2. You will see a form to add your Docusign recipients. They will receive and sign your documents or get a copy.
Note: Recipients don't need a Docusign or Work Author account to open and sign your document.
3. Enter the details of:
- Recipients at your company: People who need to sign the document from your organisation. The number of required recipients will automatically be shown.
- Recipients at the counterparty: People who need to sign the document from the other party. You must enter at least one counterparty recipient but can add a second by clicking “Add Recipient.”
- Optional CC recipients: People who will only receive an emailed copy of the document once all recipients have signed.
4. Click “Publish” to start the DocuSign workflow. Signing recipients will get an email with a link from DocuSign to review and sign the document.
In the next section, you can see the emails and copies that you and the recipients will receive during the signing process.
